About me

I am Jo Gold, eternal optimist, smiler and lover of bright colours, especially yellow (pretty appropriate given my name!)

I have been a brand and packaging designer for 15 years and since also being a mum to two energetic little people, I have found so much joy in creating my own business - Colour in Gold

I especially love drawing people. There is so much fun in capturing the unique characteristics that make people recognisable. Cartoon portraits have endless possibilities, they can bring people together who live in different countries, capture milestone occasions like birthdays or weddings, or celebrate teams and achievements.

Symmetry and graphic lines also bring me joy. I draw digitally as I love precision and I seek out stylish and symmetrical building and shapes when I create new pieces.
